Could you spare an hour and a half once a fortnight to befriend an isolated asylum seeker or refugee in Bristol? Sam Sayer of B.FRIEND is looking for new volunteers who would like to befriend someone from another culture and show God’s love practically to those on the margins. Befriending will involve listening, helping with English and spending time enjoying Bristol together. NEW befriending training runs for four consecutive Thursday evenings starting on 23rd February. Thursday 23rd February 10am: Special Mass for the Mothers’ Union Wave of Prayer, which runs round the world throughout the year, and comes here at this time of year. All are welcome.

Friday 2nd March 10am: Women’s World Day of Prayer at Horfield Methodist Church. All (male or female) are welcome to attend this event.
