TOWER BELLS Sunday Ringing 9.30 – 10am Practice night Monday 7.30pm, beginners 6.30pm. Horfield bells are unique in Bristol – we are the only 5 –bell tower in the area. We enjoy teaching complete beginners of any age, and at present we ring rounds, call changes and simple 5-bell methods. Our bells are light and easy to ring, so this is s perfect place to start. We have a range of social events including an annual Christmas feast, ringing outing(s), branch practices in other Bristol towers, and Jeanne’s amazing annual bell bash. Ringers are famously friendly, so once you can ring you can drop in at any tower throughout Britain and your talents will be snapped up. You can also earn fees for ringing at weddings, which could be a useful supplement to hard-earned pocket money!
